Abstract :
The use of electrical drive systems in motor vehicles requires an electrical power system which is designed for the transmission of higher power. This leads to enhanced requirements for the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and also new methods for characterization of Electromagnetic Interferences (EMI) have to be defined. A special measurement system for the investigation of conducted interferences at an overall vehicle system is described in this paper. Its practical operation is illustrated by several examples measured at the high-voltage power train of a hybrid vehicle.
