Abstract
Peer to Peer (P2P) multicasting providing live streaming services has been gaining popularity over last years. This is due to high demand for music and video content, especially in high definition. In this paper we focus on applying P2P multicasting for delivering vital data that require to be transmitted safely and intact, e.g., financial data, military intelligence, hurricane warnings, etc. To improve survivability of P2P multicasting we propose to use dual homing approach and construct failure disjoint streaming trees.
