Abstract :
Accessing to mine personnel real-time information has great significance on strengthening production management and ensuring workers´ safety. This paper expounded the scheme, composition and working principle of the underground personnel positioning system, designed underground personnel positioning station based on the ZigBee wireless communication technology which including wireless RF receiver, CAN communications and data processing devices, and using maximum likelihood estimation algorithm to determine the precise location. So that the ground management center can locate, monitor, real-time communicate with underground personnel and can provide important guarantee for mine safety management and production.
