A Congestion Control Algorithm of Streaming Media with Feedback Strategy

Abstract :
The streaming media congestion control algorithms, which employ sending rate control, can not efficiently solve feedback delay and parameters settings. On the base of FCA algorithm, this paper proposed a new algorithm for streaming congestion control of media based on feedback. Simulation results show that the proposed method, by which jitter and throughput are improved, can not only be more suitable for streaming media, but also keep TCP-friendly.
