Abstract
Recently, with more and more disasters occurring in the world, people have increasingly realized the importance of the disaster relief. Many systems occur at this time to provide different functionalities. The different branches of disaster relief may solve different problems when using these systems. SAHANA is a disaster management system used for disaster relief. Using such an IT technology may be a good way to solve the problem, but whether it can do efficiently under special circumstance is still a problem. In this paper, we propose a method: using SOA (serviced-oriented Architecture) based on OGC to model inventory management of relief supplies to make the relief work more flexible, efficient and easier. Experimental results show that this model we designed is effective during the relief effort.
