Abstract
In many wireless transmission systems, an estimate of the Channel State Information (CSI) is available. In this paper, we present different truncated Type-II Hybrid ARQ schemes that exploit the CSI to adapt the transmission strategy. We use a general method for evaluating and comparing the performance of the proposed hybrid ARQ schemes over Rayleigh block fading channel with unreliable feedback. The obtained results show that it is possible to design an efficient hybrid ARQ protocol that exploit CSI without changing complexity.
