Abstract :
The effective method for reconstruction of permittivity profile of structures having both intervals of continuous ε(x) distribution and sharp interfaces is proposed. The method is nonstandard modification of Newton-Kantorovich iterative scheme applied to Riccati differential equation supposing piecewise-square-hyperbolic permittivity profile. The modification is compared with previously developed one supposing piecewise-constant permittivity profile on numerically synthesized reflection-coefficient data for complicated structure.
