Abstract :
This paper presents a method used for the motion compensation of the Korean unmanned air vehicle using GPS/IMU data to compensate for the phase error caused by the motion of the radar platform. Using the measured flight trajectory, along-track and cross-track motions were compensated for and residual phase errors were removed by the autofocusing technique. The mosaic technique was used for imaging a large-size scene. The proposed method applied to the range migration algorithm provides well-focused SAR images after autofocus.
