  • Abstract
    In this paper, an improved method for classifying the concealed obstacles through foliage is newly proposed. For this purpose, forward imaging UWB radar is applied to get the intensity information of obstacles, and CCD cameras is also utilized to get the height information as well. Based on these sensors, a classification method of concealed obstacles is newly derived using the data fusion of both the intensity and the height information of obstacles. The validity of the proposed method is also examined through the related experimental results.
