Abstract :
The purpose of the study was to explore the characteristics of brain neural activities of orientation perception of wrestle antagonism athletes. This study selected 12 participants. Research paradigm of reaction time (RT) and recording technique of Event-related Potentials (ERPs) were collected to compare between wrestle antagonism athletes and general undergraduates during the selective responses of orientation perception. The results indicated that there had significant differences in the perceptual speed and perceptual strategy applied in selective responses of orientation perception between wrestle antagonism athletes and general undergraduates. Moreover, there was an “economic” tendency of mental energy during the whole cognitive process of orientation perception of wrestle antagonism athletes. These were related to the long-term specialties training of antagonistic events athletes.
