Abstract :
The science of acupuncture and moxibustion is an important component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a long history. Although there are a number of different acupuncture manipulations, the relationship between the evoked electrical signal time series and manipulations is rarely investigated. In this work, the authors choose the twirling manipulation to accomplish the biotic experiment in the laboratory mice, and then vary the frequency to study its correlativity with the output. Through reconstructing the evoked electrical signal time series by the method of interspike interval (ISI), we compare the ISI series in different twirling frequencies. Also the firing rate varying with the frequency is discussed here.
