Abstract :
Extracting three-dimensional (3D) human body feature measurement is the key technology of 3D garment CAD system. This paper mainly discussed the method of extracting the feature measurement of 3D body. After point cloud data of body was obtained through the 3D scanner, it combined with the definitions of the geometrical features and feature parts of 3D body in Clothology to get the datum points or feature points of feature measurement. According to these datum points or feature points obtained the data of section which corresponding to the feature measurement. B-spline was taken to fit these data in order to get the feature measurement.
