Abstract :
The proofing principle and technology used in digital proofing and the traditional mechanical proofing are completely different. And more, there are a lot differences in the proofing paper and inks. In order to evaluate the color matching effect in digital proofing process, specific stage inspection and overall assessment are needed. In this paper, careful analysis and study for quality assessment are proposed in every stage in digital proofing, quality evaluating methods and control manners are listed, and finally standards of color difference in digital proofing are raised to discuss based on several digital proofing environments´ setting in different areas in China.
