Abstract :
This paper presents a new boundary tracing algorithm based on chain code, which can calculates the closed region perimeter while tracing boundary. The application of the algorithm on the tailings distribution perimeter calculation with hyperspectral remote sensing image proves the effectivity of the proposed method.
