Abstract
It is well-known that it is very difficult to generate the ideal orthogonal waveforms. Commonly, the waveforms generated by Lorenz chaotic system are quasi-orthogonal. In this paper, the Lorenz-based chaotic waveforms are introduced to MIMO radar systems. Also, the principles of MIMO radar using Lorenz chaotic signals are analyzed briefly. Finally, numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of Lorenz-based quasi- orthogonal waveforms for MIMO radar systems.
