Abstract :
The OFDM joint radar and communication system uses communication signals as radar signals. In a realistic environment, the effects of the multipath-multiuser environment severely degrades the radar´s dynamic range. Since the radar is capable of demodulating the interfering communication signals, they can then be subtracted from the reflected radar signal to improve its dynamic range. This paper explores two interference cancellation methods serial and selective interference cancellation whereby their impact on the radar´s performance is investigated.
