Abstract
This paper presents a unique phase equalizer which has improved phase equalization capability directly by using negative group delay times. This functionality can be achieved by using characteristics of reflection coefficients and not in a conventional way to use transmission characteristics of 2-port networks. The use of negative group delay times allows us to extend the capability and the applicability of phase equalizers.
