Abstract :
This paper presents an inline extracted pole filter with non-resonating nodes using single- and dual-mode extracted pole sections. The proposed 4th-order filter has generalized Chebyshev response with three transmission zeros: one in lower stopband and two in upper stopband. The filter is implemented using an E-plane insert in a rectangular waveguide. Experimental verification of simulated results is carried out.
