Abstract
An all-pass constant-phase 2-port network that contains negative capacitances and behaves as a perfectly matched phased inverter in an almost unlimited frequency range is proposed. The unique network properties are explained using the even-odd mode analysis technique as well as in terms of immittance inverters. Different aspects of practical implementation of the network with the negative capacitances realized as transistor negative impedance converters are discussed.
