Abstract
A review of the gyrotropic properties of graphene is presented. The polarization rotation phenomenon in graphene is explained as the result of the different transmission characteristics of right-handed and left-handed circularly polarized waves through it. Increased capabilities of controlling gyrotropy in graphene, compared to traditional gyrotropic media, are found through the chemical potential and the magnetic field. A circular waveguide Faraday rotator and a non-reciprocal spatial isolator are indicatively presented as two first microwave applications.
