Abstract
In this study, a non-interactive compensation technique for the looper tension control system in the hot finishing mill process is proposed. The nonlinear disturbance observer(NDOB) is utilized to reject the interactions and the nonlineraity. This method guarantees the stability of the system on the wide range of state domain, so the proposed approach is expected to be used stand-alone for the looper tension control.
