  • Abstract
In this work, we present the fabrication of silicon nanowires and its application on inorganic/organic hybrid solar cells. The n-type SiNWs combine with conducting polymer, PEDOT:PSS. The interface of the SiNW and PEDOT:PSS forms heterojunction for separation of photo-generated carriers. Strong light trapping effect in the SiNWs significantly suppresses optical reflection. The n-SiNW/PEDOT:PSS solar cells have a current density (Jsc) of 24.24 mA/cm2 and an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.532 V, leading to a power conversion efficiency of 8.40%.
