Abstract :
Message spreading in network communities may be affected not only by the interaction strengths between users, but also by the types of messages and the interests of individuals. Taking into account these factors, a message spreading mechanism was put forward in this paper. Based on the simulation and empirical study of two network communities, the paper points out that acceptance probability λ of messages about important events is higher than that of entertainment messages. The immunity probability α of messages about people´s livelihood is lower than that of other topics. There is no obvious correlation between λ and α. Messages about important events spread relatively fast, while there is a lag for the spreading of entertainment messages.
