Abstract :
Construction projects are the foundation of the economy development. Construction projects lead to the negative externality problems on the waste and exhaustion of natural resources, environment pollution and ecological damage while they create social wealth for human, which need to introduce the idea of ecology to build systematic theory frame to resolve. The paper analyses the similarities of construction projects system and ecosystem, defines the concept of ecological niche of construction projects and their structure model, establishes niche construction model of construction projects on this base and calculates the value of evolutionary inertia and evolutionary momentum of four construction projects combining a case study. The studies provide theory guidance for resolving the problems of resources waste and environment pollution and realizing sustainable development of construction projects.
