Abstract

It has important theoretical and practical significance for urban agglomeration´s functional integration. Based on functional integration in the urban agglomeration and its effect with qualitative analysis, taking Yunnan central urban agglomeration for example, this paper examines and measurements the development effects of functional integration, by building co-integration equation and spatial convergence model. This study shows that functional integration played an important role in Yunnan central urban agglomeration, which has been the Granger cause in urban agglomeration´s economic and social development, and this function conformity effect has the spatial convergence.
