Abstract :
As the environment has become more dynamic and complex, innovation is more important. Based on a sample of 208 Chinese companies and a structural equation methodology, the study discusses the relationship among internal social capital, knowledge energy and management innovation. Our results indicate that internal social capital positively affects knowledge energy, knowledge energy is indeed associated with greater management innovation, and internal social capital has direct impact on management innovation. Further, our results provide evidence that knowledge energy plays a partial mediating role between internal social capital and management innovation. Since very limited empirical studies have concentrated on above issues in China, the results of this study can offer important direction to theories and practices in the developing of management innovation.
