Abstract :
The index technology is a important research field for topic search engine. We put forward a efficient index file model for Chinese HTML pages. The double-byte inverted index and virtual memory drives technology ensure the system response time in the design goal. The test presents that the model has a good expansibility and stability and the system still less than 1 second with the increasing of data.
