  • Abstract
The problem of reasonable arrangement for the sickbeds is an important factor in the improvement of service level of Dept. of Ophthalmology. In the article, firstly, by the analysis of the working mechanism in Dept. of Ophthalmology, we set up a sickbed arrangement evaluation system which consists of 4 indexes. They are the length of queue, the number of inpatients who are discharged from hospital per unit time, FCFS (First coming, First serving) and giving priority to the patient who suffers from surgical trauma. Secondly, we establish a model in reasonable arrangement of sickbeds in Dept. of Ophthalmology, called Multi-muzzle Type Ammunition Case, and got the total number of inpatients who are discharged from hospital in a week and the average waiting time of inpatients. Furthermore, we got the time, which inpatients are hospitalized. That improved working efficiency, resource´s effective utilization ratio and the humanized service level.
