Abstract
This study explored the influence of social value orientation on cooperative behavior. The cooperative behavior of 14-year-old children and adults was measured in prisoner dilemma. Results showed that prosocial adults had higher expectation on others´ cooperative behavior. Social value orientation does influence people´s cooperative behavior.
