  • Abstract
As a rudimental English course, extensive reading course aims at providing sufficient language sources in a simulated environment. With the help of Internet and multi-media technology, the environment can be improved on a large scale. Diversified information can be displayed in various forms. The language input and output can be realized more smoothly. The validity of second language acquisition can be improved significantly. The learners´ cognitive structures can be coordinated. The instruction mode of extensive reading course can be optimized in all perspectives.
