  • Abstract
    The method of computer simulation is applied to the study on the type selection of ambulance helicopter(AH). Based on the working flow of medical evacuation, the concept model and its simulation model are built to observe the patient flow. Tactical and technical indexes of ambulance helicopter, for example, airspeed and number of patients, are investigated through the output results such as mean evacuation waiting time. Therefore, it can lay a foundation on the type selection of AH. The result shows that the type holding more than 10 litter patients is preferred model and the aimed type is mi-171.
