Abstract :
This paper introduced a newly developed coal flotation collector ZFC and its flotation characteristics for Shanxi three different coals. ZFC was an emulsion composed by 27% diesel oil, 70% water and 3% surfactants. The surfactant PGS which was environmental friendly and reproducible, was synthesized with oil. The flotation results showed that the ZFC had the characteristics of excellent performance, high selectivity and good stability. Compared with the flotation with diesel at the similar clean coal ash, the ZFC can increase clean coal recovery and combustible material recovery by 3~5% and 2~5%, respectively. ZFC can greatly improve the efficiency of floatation and save about 70% diesel oil.
