Abstract :
This paper presents the simulation and implementation of a digital control speed of two DC motors, set in master/slave mode, in order to perform speed synchronisation, when these two motors are subject to different operating conditions in the four quadrants. The modelling is performed on Matlab-Simulink environment. Simulation results are presented and discussed. The software implementation is conducted in real time on an experimental test rig, DSP based. Preliminary test results are given, and show satisfactory system operation.
