Abstract :
This paper presents a new paradigm for classification of aircraft inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) images. A database for identification is efficiently constructed using various 3-D aircraft flight scenarios. Simulation results demonstrate that this method can reduce the memory space for target identification significantly compared to the conventional methodology while maintaining reliable identification performance.
