Abstract :
Bistatic through-wall imaging SAR has a promising future. A model of Bistatic SAR for through-wall sensing is established, whose transmitter working in side-looking strip mode with a stationary receiver. Aiming at the requirements of imaging algorithm development on system characteristics, the paper focuses on characteristics of Doppler, space dependence, and two dimensional (2-D) resolution distribution. Through theoretical derivation in time and frequency domain combined with simulation analysis, formulas of the characteristic indexes are obtained as well as the influence of system configuration and wall parameters on them. All these lay the theoretical foundation for the development of precise imaging algorithm.
