Abstract :
Online synchronization is a key technique for bistatic SAR system. Synchronization and system performance are closely related. In this paper, online synchronization technique of bistatic SAR system has been studied and the implementation block diagram has been provided. Hardware design and implementation of bistatic online synchronization system was finished. After integrating the online synchronization system into bistatic SAR system the flight trial of bistatic SAR has been successfully conducted and first bistatic SAR image in China has been obtained by adopting online synchronization technique.
