Abstract :
A method based on fuzzy logic to estimate the alarm system intruder detection/undetection probability was developed. It uses the assessments of different intensity noise barriers and detector´s vulnerability to them. The usage of fuzzy sets and their defuzzification allowed to consider environmental influences in estimation of the intruder detection probability. Such detection probability information is used by specialized software of the optimal alarm systems design.
