Abstract
This paper describes a new analytical technique for designing a PI controller for Two Input Two Output (T.I.T.O.) system. The parameter values (kp,kI) of PI controller is designed using Routh stability criteria and decoupling technique. The proposed PI controller technique is very simple and easy method. The method is illustrated through a typical numerical example available in the literature.
