  • Abstract
    Non-linear Power Electronic loads draw non-sinusoidal current more significantly. These types of loads affect the power quality of electrical distribution networks due to the flow of these generated harmonics. Here a virtual instrument concept is implemented for the online harmonic analysis of non-linear loads like diode bridge rectifiers, half controlled convertor, full controlled convertor, light dimmer or fan regulator using Triac and Diac by wavelet analysis. The virtual instrument is built up in LabVIEW software which gives harmonic analysis for various loads in real time.
