Abstract :
Automotive suspension system design plays a very important role in the passengers comfort and safety in passenger vehicles. This paper is focused on different actuator electric linear motor, electromagnetic are compared with conventional passive suspension system. In this article actively controlled suspension system with a suitable control method. Controller configuration is simulated and then verified on the quarter car model. Simulation model is developed to analyze the active suspension system to produce good dynamic response and better ride comfort than conventional passive suspension system.
