PETIC Wizard proposal: A software tool for support PETIC methodology

Nowadays, organizations face with a highly competitive market, needing information and knowledge as an intelligent support for the management of their business. In this context, correct dissemination of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) may be a manner to obtain competitive advantages. For that, it is needed management practices that optimize ICT benefits to the organization. This study will explain an overview of ICT governance and ICT strategic planning importance. It will be described the ICT strategic planning methodology called PETIC. It will be analyzed some software tools for support strategic planning and their importance. Finally, it will be defined some characteristics and features that must be present in the software to support PETIC methodology.
