Abstract
This paper presents a telematic application to evaluate the Quality of Service (QoS) of a Web-based Electronic Health Records (EHRs) system using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). It uses different statistic tools to reduce the number of items in the initial survey. We will obtain 22 questions of a total of 40 with the SERVQUAL model, allowing to save time in a future at the moment of realizing the above mentioned survey. Moreover, with the opinions of the different health professionals, many technical and user aspects of the EHRs application will be able to be improved. For the validation of this tool, 60 users of the same EHRs system answered the questions.
