Abstract :
For the electron beams in a guiding magnetic field with significant energy and angular spreads of the particles two novel schemes of recuperator with different configurations are described. In the first one a special combination of transversal and longitudinal magnetic fields is used to separate electrons due to different Larmour radii corresponded to different energy of their longitudinal motion. In the second variant of recuperator an essential new scheme of recuperator is suggested. Here a spatially periodic transverse magnetic field is added to the longitudinal one in the deceleration section of electron trajectory. A resonance between bounce electron motion and cyclotron one gives strong increasing of Larmour radius for a small group of electrons with chosen particle energy. As a result, the electrons with resonance energy fall out to small local parts of channel wall where collector plates are placed. Comparison of two schemes of the recuperator is also discussed.
