Abstract :
Feasibility of generating ion beams with energy of keV and high enough density (more than 1mA per cm2) in abnormal glow discharges has been previously based physically. The results of investigations of radial distribution of the ion beam density with the help of a designed polycylindrical collector are presented. The features of the current density distribution for a single and multipoint current input-emitter are discussed.
