Abstract :
A 200 kV laser triggered multistage multi-channel switch was designed and tested. The dependence of the delay on the experimental parameters was reported. The experimental results was illustrated by a 0-demension model. The delay and jitter decreased as the energy of laser pulse, pressure increased or the percentage of SF6 in SF6-N2 mixtures, the focal length of lens decreased.
