Abstract :
This report presents results of numerical simulation of different operation modes of the STRAUS-2 accelerator conducted with the aid of electromagnetic code BEAM25. The dependence of accelerator output parameters on time of prepulse gap switching is studied. The effect of the value of electrolytic load resistance on the output pulse parameters in the accelerating tube unit is also demonstrated.
