Abstract :
Problems in the field of high energy densities physics that have been considered or can be solved using helical and disk explosive magnetic generators (EMG) based in RFNC-VNIIEF as drivers are briefly considered. High currents (up to hundreds of MA) obtained that increase during microsecond times allow to simulate physical processes and different devices operation at high temperatures and pressures. Some EMG peculiarities are noted ensuring the solution to the problems that cause difficulties at the application of other energy sources.
