Abstract :
The dependence of the lasing condition of fast capillary discharge plasmas on the initial plasma parameters has been experimentally investigated. The results show that there is an optimum initial condition for lasings, and the variation of lasing power can be correlated with the electron density of initial plasmas. Experimental results also indicate that the initial condition is an important factor for getting larger laser energy with capillary discharges.
