Abstract :
The work presents a laser diagnostic experiment on a plasma focus device operating on neon. Using interferometric and shadow methods some features of a plasma focus discharge, such as a complicated structure of plasma-current sheath and its relation to soft X-ray pulse emitted by a pinching region were studied.
