Title :
The Patient Perspective [Perspectives on Graduate Life]
Abstract :
This paper is based on computerised tomography scan for lung cancer. Additional positron emission tomography scans indicated abnormal levels of metabolic activity in the left lung mass, but its location directly abutting the pulmonary artery prevented a routine biopsy. Ultimately, a wedge resection surgery is the option to biopsy and get an official diagnosis.
